A grim experience. A challenging concept and...

A grim experience. A challenging concept and fresh design, but such poor execution appears to have lead management to become overwhelmed and given up on training and leadership. This is what frequently happens when inexperienced people open a restaurant. What are empty cardboard boxes doing along the kitchen wall in the dining room? Why would the sushi maker shake hands with customers and go back to making rolls without washing his hands? Sorry to see such a waste of someone's millions.

Went there during lunch, so it wasn't very busy. The service was awful. The people didn't seem to know what they were doing, like they weren't comfortable or confident with the service they were giving. They weren't particularly friendly. Our lunch was disrupted because the table next to us was having some issues. It didn't seem like the manager was doing a very good job of making it better - although he seemed to try. He seemed really awkward. The place is nicely, but typically designed which adds some value to the experience, but excellent customer service will take you a long way, and it definitely lacked that.

The service was HORRIBLE. Will never ever go...

The service was HORRIBLE. Will never ever go there again! Came in and asked about the wait for a party of 2. Was told the wait time is approximately 30mins. So we put our name down and waited. 2-3 parties of 2 came in AFTER us and did not have reservations, yet were seated BEFORE us. We had been waiting for approximately 25mins already and after the third party was seated, we went up to the hostess and asked how much longer it would take. Apparently she heard me say a party of 3 instead of 2 hence why we weren't seated yet. She than said our table was in the process of being cleaned. The table we were seated at, was available for the past 15mins. I know this cause the restaurant wasn't even that big so I was watching and saw when that table became available. When we were finally seated, we didn't even get any menus to look at. It took them 10mins before they finally came by to give us our menus. They didn't even give us 2 menus. They gave us 1 and than another 5 minutes later, they gave us another menu. When our food finally came, they didn't even bring us the right order. Instead of bringing Beef and Broccoli Chow Mein, they brought us Chicken Chow Mein. This is after waiting 45mins for them to finally bring us our food. Overall, this is by far, the worst experience I've had eating out. I won't be coming back here ever again and I would advise all others not to come here either. The food is overpriced for the portions you get and the service is horrible.

We arrived after making reservations, it's good...

We arrived after making reservations, it's good to have a booking as it can get really busy here at times. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. Can't think of another place in Toronto that has such a wide and diverse range of Asian cuisines, and everything is surprisingly authentic and pleasant to the palate. I reccomend this place to anyone in the area.
