My second visit, and as I read other reviews my visit was much the same as everyone else. Service was okay they kept apologizing food was terrible and slow to come out. Don't waste your time with this one.
Our second time here. We visited when it first opened, and we were less than impressed. It's been a year or two, on a whim decided to try it again. What a waste of time, money, and calories. I ordered the chinese spring rolls as an appetizer, which stated it had chicken and veggies. All I found were mushrooms, mushrooms, and more mushrooms. I couldn't eat them. My meal was the cashew chicken,,and I'm sure I could make it better at home with grocery store ingredients with pre made PC sauce. Flavorless and bland..yuck. I didn't even bother bringing the vast quantity of leftovers home. Not because they gave me too much, but because it was so gross it wasn't worth the styrofoam container it came in. We will never go back.
We tried to eat here three times, each time there was a lineup and there is nowhere to sit while you are waiting for a table. You have to stand in the doorway vestibule while people walk in and out. On the fourth time we finally got to eat here and it just wasn't great. The menus are grimy and the pages stuck together, the service was only so-so. The food itself was very run-of-the-mill Asian, nothing special, bland and made with grocery store ingredients. It is nicely decorated, but that's all. I don't recommend it.
Beautifully designed restaurant upon entering, we were greeted warmly and given a quick explanation of what the restaurant offered as it was our first time. The beef teriyaki ordered had too much sauce on it and we found it overly sweet and a bit tough and the rice a bit dry. The sushi that came out was average altho the unagi and roe had a metallic taste about it that was not pleasant. Our other diner found the spring rolls and pad thai delicious tho. Average food, great service tho, we'd return to try some of the chinese dishes.
When I had such a unsatisfactory experience at this establishment, I was curious to check out the reviews and all the ones that rated this place with low scores now seem valid when I am about to review it myself. Been here 3 times since it opened. First time was the best experience, 2nd time food took very long, and this 3rd time service was slow and waiter looked scared. I was last to arrive in our party of 3 but only 5 minutes later than the other 2. There were only 2 menus provided for our party of 3 and 2 glasses of water. When I arrived at the door looking like I was looking for my party, the hostess (with no one else waiting to be greeted) ignored me while I appear to be looking for my party whom I knew were already in the restaurant. When I sat down, I waited 10 minutes before our waiter approached me to ask me if I we wanted drinks, but still not realizing I was sharing the menu with my neighbor. We ordered the mango martini and sour apple martini. The glass was just a bit over half filled ONLY. The mango one tasted more like orange juice and lacked much alcohol but the sour apple one tasted like rubbing alcohol!!! The Galbi was loaded with too much sauce, the pad thai also loaded with too much sauce and both were way too sweet, not authentic tasting at all more like poor knock off versions. The only thing that was ok tasting was the spider roll. We waited a very long time to get our bill as well. Also, we were in the mood for Korean food that night but their claim to serve Korean only included 2 items at the very most that were Korean. I recall there used to be more Korean selections in the past but they must have changed the menu since. I would probably not go back unless it's only spider roll I am ordering.
