Finding a landscaping design and construction company that is dedicated to excellence, and who pride themselves in designing and building landscapes that stand the test of time is certainly challenging. It was for us, but one simple drive-by a previous project completed by Landworks and we were sold. The quality of their workmanship and their attention to the smallest detail is unlike any landscaping work we have ever seen, ranking them second to none. As a result, the company books up quickly. We booked in the summer of 2012 for a start date of spring 2013. During that time, the owner of the company, Danny, met with us several times to go over, in detail, timelines, goals, budgets, custom landscape designs, the construction process, and maintenance of the project. With Danny's creativity, artistic ability, and extensive knowledge of landscaping materials and products, we came up with a unique landscape design that not only fit our budget, but also utilized the existing elements of our property, including limited frontage space, trees, and ravine lot. The courtesy and professionalism displayed by not only Danny, but also his crew was very impressive, to say the least. In addition, neighbours raved about their hard-work ethic, top-notch service, and job-site cleanliness. Danny has a very pleasant personality which makes working with him enjoyable. He is prompt, dependable, honest, and fair which is why he comes highly recommended by so many people. Landworks makes choosing the best landscaper simple. Read more

Landscaping Contractors in Heartland Town Centre Mississauga ON

Are you envious of the neighbour’s immaculate backyard landscaping? Been dreaming lately about that swimming pool next to a luscious flowerbed? Need to move a couple of boulders and add some water features in the backyard to match your landscape designs but you’re not sure what your zoning bylaws have to say about that? At times, searching for the ideal and competent landscape contractor or architect can seem more like trying to machete yourself out of a thick jungle than a simple stroll in the garden.

Tips to finding landscape contractors in Heartland Town Centre Mississauga ON

  • Referrals: Your best referrals for landscape services and landscape companies in Heartland Town Centre Mississauga ON will come from those who own yards you admire – like your neighbour, for example. Those yard owners most likely took the time to get to know their landscapers before taking on their landscaping project. Ask those yard owners if they are satisfied with the landscape architect they hired, how long it took to get the job done, the cost, if there was good communication between the yard owner and the landscaper and if they would hire them again. Plant nursery owners who deal with landscapers on a daily basis can also give you referrals.
  • Budget: A landscape contractor is generally more expensive than a landscape architect. Establish the type of landscape services you require and you will be able to average out your budget. Dealing with a simple tree and bush trimming or small flowerbeds requires landscape maintenance from a contractor whereas moving boulders, uprooting trees and adding swimming pools will require the services of a landscape architect.
  • Do your homework: Ask your potential landscaping company if their employees are insured, how familiar they are with the zoning bylaws in your neighbourhood and if they are up to code with your city’s regulations. The landscape company should offer a free on site consultation.
  • Book well in advance: A successful landscape company can be booked for up to a year. Begin your search for the ideal landscaper during the quieter winter months and follow-up the following year in the spring. Landscape architects are rarely available for interviews during the busy summer months.
