    This is my go to ...

    This is my go to comic store. Though it is a little small, it is always updated with the newest comics and the staff is very nice.

    Great!

    Great store (especially if you're in the suburbs) with fair prices. Owners are great and will go out of their way to find something for you. Also, they have a huge selection of Funko Pop Vinyls!

    my experience

    when i was younger i use to visit this place and the older gentlemen was extremely rude at times. I could see why he would be; there were always younger kids walking in touching and messing around with products. kids had no money and messed up the store....i understood his anger. I walked in the first time and I felt like he wanted to kick me out until I showed i had money and kept coming back. his son was really cool to deal with. no problems with that. at the time, AK sports was the only card shop around the area. prices were a bit higher than flea market shops and ebay because there was overhead cost. that mall has a high overhead cost etc. im not going to justify why people should buy there even though the prices are higher. they had a monopoly on the area and capitalized that (on sports cards). now Im a bit older and I found the internet and places in the west end have much lower prices without a doubt. the service is friendly as well without a doubt! Ak has plenty of stock and they are great to their loyal customers giving them extra discounts. you just have to get over the rudeness you might experience at first.

    Many better places than here for cards

    Owner and other workers are rude and really know nothing of the cards they sell. They are literally the most expensive place ive ever seen for buying single packs and hobby boxes. Im not exaggerating i cant even find prices online anywhere as expensive as these guys. IThey also have comics which i dont know much about so i cant really review that part of the store. There are many other card shops in the toronto area with much better selections at much nicer prices if you are looking for cards.

    We have been in business for over 20 years now...so I guess we must be doing something right...for example...we always have fresh stock...U.S.COVER PRICES ON COMICS...AFFORDABLE PRICES ON CARDS...BEST PRICES ON PLUSH BAR NONE...AND A WIDE SELECTION OF MANY DIFFERENT PRODUCT LINES INCLUDING SPORTS MERCHANDISE and COMICS RELATED ITEMS...I guess it is very easy to slam someone when they are anonymous...as owner of the store I take pride in the fact that I have been helping many people with their wants and needs relating to their collections...and being in business since I was 13...thats 23 years that i've been doing this as a living...sorry your experience wasn't as good...where did you say your store was...?
