Magnolia Tattoo Co. is a zen-inspired tattoo studio located in Calgary AB, Canada. Established in 2017, the studio has since become home to resident artists Mandy Wendt, Oliver Schell, and welcomes guest artists. The studio primarily runs on an appointment-only basis with the exception of walk-in days and studio art nights. Mandy Wendt Mandy has been tattooing since 2006 starting her art career as a bright-eyed young artist who spent most of her time creating commissioned pencil sketches before being introduced to the craft of tattooing. At the age of 20 she eagerly took the opportunity and settled into a new apprenticeship under a local tattooer by the name of Moose at Jokers Tattoo. She worked alongside the shop crew for the next 4 years before becoming a mother. She welcomes projects of all types and sizes but specializes in floral and black and grey art. Mandy excels the most when given creative freedom. Mandy likes to keep relatively short wait times, usually booking no more than three months ahead. Ollie Schell Ollie has 19 years of experience in tattooing and specializes in traditional and Japanese tattoos. Over the years his journey has taken him all over the world and into some extraordinary tattooing experiences. Ollies books are always open and he keeps his wait times relatively short. more...
