I went into the Marlborough Mall office last minute to see if I could get in for an eye exam as I had just broke my glasses and had no back up pair. The doctors were fully booked that day but the staff made it possible for me to come in as a walk-in. I barely had to wait in the waiting room before I got called in to see one of the doctors. I was surprised at how quick and smooth the entire process was. The staff also offered to put contact lenses in my eyes with my prescription while I was waiting for my new glasses to be made. This was a FREE service they offered me! I am super happy with the service I received and will definetely be coming back!
Would i reccommend Dr. Bishop & Assoc to my friends and family? Yes. My first impression when calling to book an appointment was "wow the staff has great phone edicite and excellent customer care". I was able to get an exam that worked with my schudeling needs. From the moment i walked in to the office at South Centre i was greeted with a warm welcome and to my suprise I was already being taken to start my exam right on time. I exspeciaclly liked my optometrist, she didnt rush through any part of the exam and made me feel important. I will deffenitly be going back next year, Happy Holidays
I have had bad experiences in the past with contact lenses & optometrists so I have been reluctant to go for an eye exam since I moved to Calgary. When I saw Dr. Bishop & Associates ad for their contact lens promotions, I decided to give them a try since I wanted to wear contacts again & just hadn't been able to afford it. To my surprise, not only did I end up leaving my exam with contact lenses, the doctor was friendly (& cute!) and the staff were really helpful- they were enthusiastic about trying on colored lenses once I asked them about it, and they had a much larger selection than any other optometrists that I've been to. Needless to say I will be going back to the Southcentre location.
I walked by the office around 11am hoping to book an appointment for a different day. To my suprise, I was given an appointment right away! I saw Dr. Ong and I was given a prescription for glasses. My overall experience was very good, I wish they had more chairs in the waiting area.
