This repair studio is great. Repaired my grandfathers violin - took some time but worth the wait. Considering Ms. Turgeon is busy with repairs 24/7 I am impressed with the amount of time and explanation she spent with us regarding what was needed to restore our violin. Sometimes hard to get in touch with by phone (I can see why), yet always replys to email. Best set up an appointment if you have to see her. Read more

Vahik presides over his workshop filled with machines and hand tools and dozens of all manner of musical instruments. I have brought him an old violin from a flea market for his assessment. He thinks it is worth repairing and we agree to three stages. When each stage is complete the violin improves enormously. Finally, he is satisfied and so am I...a real transformation! The violin both looks and plays wonderfully. The cost of repairing is not cheap, but much increased the value! Thanks! Read more
