Meet the owner

One of the best feelings is to walk into a place where everyone knows your name and is glad to see you. That’s the ambiance of the Lord William Pub in Griffintown. This restaurant and bar opened its doors in June 2015 and while it has a homey atmosphere, it’s more than your average pub.

“When people think of a pub, they just think pitchers of beer and getting really drunk,” says Joe Pilotte, owner of the Lord William Pub, “but we wanted a different atmosphere. So, you can wear your jeans and a T-shirt, or you could be in a suit coming from work. Either way, you’ll feel comfortable here.”

Pub très sympathique avec une atmosphère agréable, des rediffusions sportives et des plats excellents (notamment le burger à l'agneau). Le service est bon mais malheureusement très très lent: il sera difficile de manger le midi en moins de deux heures.

Good food and nice terrace

Great pub with a nice terrace to eat outside. The inside is quite big a lot of seating. The food was delicious at a fair price. I have to say the fries were really good, one of the best fries in town. Would recommend for a 5 a 7. The service was good but the food was a bit slow maybe because we were a big group of people. Anyhow would go back again.

This small pub on des Seigneurs Street offers a very, very cheesy macaroni and cheese, with aged cheddar, La Sauvagine and 14 arpents cheese, produced in Quebec. Yum!

This friendly Griffintown pub offers whiskey, bourbon and rum, plus a selection of imported and domestic beers. The pub-style food is sure to keep you content. Oysters, quesadillas, chicken wings, nacho plates, and fish n’ chips are all waiting for you, but there’s also tartare, grilled salmon, a lamb burger, and fish tacos.
