Terrible! Over priced and terrible!!! To start, you could hardly read the menu because the lights were too dimmed. The waitress had to come and give us a 5 minute speech on how to order. She suggested we try the Rack of Lamb because they were rating very highly by the city. So following her word, and willing to pay the additional cost to order such a delicacy I ordered the Lamb. It was tasteless, fatty and so disgusting that other's around me grimaced at my meal. A guest who ordered the fish ate two bites, because the whole thing was drenched in tasteless oil. The show was one girl dancing around – hardly a show. One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to in our city. I was extremely disappointed. Oh, not to mention the service was ridiculously slow and poorly timed between courses.

Don't go there. It is really bad. I used to be a regular at the old Sultan’s tent restaurant in Yorkville. I am back in Toronto and wanted to try it again. The Yorkville site was demolished and the restaurant moved to a new location on Front Street. It is nothing like old one. It is really bad. When they demolished the Yorkville building, they must have changed management and chefs; the only thing that remains is the name. I am from North Africa and the food at this place could hardly be called North African, e.g., they served frog meat! The couscous was awful. They even tried to be cute with the mint tea adding some strong spice to it, which made taste more like a cough medicine. I was deeply disappointed with the poor quality of the food and the excessive prices. The belly dance show was a joke and the layout of the restaurant made it more of an annoyance than a show: you see the dancer for a minute, then she disappears for 5 minutes, and so on. The dancer herself was not good at all; she knows how shake few body parts but no concept of rhythm with the music. I had four other people with me and everyone was disappointed. I will not go there again even if they offered their food for free! Too bad the Yorkville experience has been lost!!! The only positive thing I can say is that the service people were very good: quick and very polite.

Exotic. Wonderful ambience with food that was atypical of normal restaurant fare. Menu was a little restrictive yet the food was excellent. They made our 10th anniversary very special. This is definately for those looking for something a little diferent.
