Highly disappointed with the sushi pizza; both...
Highly disappointed with the sushi pizza; both the top and bottom were covered in mayo and when I asked about it I was told that most customers prefer it that way. Not this customer, but thanks for asking. Anyway, almost had a fight over a miso soup with the waitress and she had to get the 'ok' from her manager not to charge due to her misunderstanding. Way too many sushi places in TO that are better than this one.

This restaurant is nicely designed, the service is pretty good and the owner is pleasant. But with the plethora of Japanese restaurants that now exist, it comes down to sushi and details. Fresh sushi is the key to any great Japanese restaurant. This restaurant's sushi is ok. The attention to detail is moderate. The cooked items are fine, but expect teriyaki chicken and beef to be basic. Overall it's a nice dining experience, and consistent upon return, but you won't be wowed. AW
