It was a fun time had by all, for the service was friendly, the food was the best I'd ever had, and the prices weren't too bad at all. Now I'm a pretty picky eater, and that coming from an eater like me means that it's an amazing restaurant.

The best Prime Rib ever, ordered the "owners cut", and took a lot home for the next day. The caesar was great, the buns were fabulous, and our waitress was excellent. Could not have been any better, great food, good price, relaxing atmosphere.
I am surprised no one has reviewed this restaurant yet! There was always a huge line-up until they finally expanded, and it is still always packed. This is absolutely the best place in Thunder Bay if you like steak. Their prime rib is to die for! Their salad bar is great, with fresh-made buns available all night long. I always bring visitors to Thunder Bay to the Prospector and they have never been disappointed!

I was extremely dissapointed in the attitude the manager gave my table. She came out with the server and brought my steak. she glared at my friend and I. She didn't ask us how anything was she just gave us dirty looks and dropped my plate in front of me with a thud. She made my friend and I extremely uncomfortable. We will NEVER go back. I spent over $100 on our meal after the server's tip and will never give them one more penny. I would have complained to the manager except that is who I had the prob;em with. She made me feel unwelcome at the restaurant.
