Ordered my food for 12:55 they came at 12:05. . when I told them about this they didn't even try to compensate me in any way. "next time you order, we'll get it right" is all I got. or to send it back and get it at the right time.the food was terrible. The Chicken had bones in it,covered in fat and over cooked. The tofu was not done right and had a weird jelly substance on it. After I had a few bites of my chicken, I called to complain about my whole experience and they wouldn't do a thing.
I was there for dinner a couple nights ago with my girl friend. I have been a regular customer at this place for almost 8 years and that twice a week wether its for lunch or dinner. All my friends and family goes there.
Unfortunately, I will not come back base on my last visit. There is no structure to this business. #1. They Advertised "All You Can Eat" at a set price. BUT we get charged $5-10 extra if there is leftovers, wether to take home or throw it away. in the end my all you can eat sushi buffet costs me over $30 Tax in for one Person.
#2 When I try to give a constructive criticism to their waiter, (Kevin) he then said to us, "I don't care." WOW! really???? I don't mind paying extra but hey at least give me a reason that its worth paying more for.
#3. while I was having dinner with my parents there, we were looked over us like a hawk, and I couldnt figure out a reason why... it made us feel really uncomfortable. it made us feel like we are criminals. and we were gonna steal their sushi or something. We are business people in town and we work with the public. are we gonna steal food? that is unacceptable!!!
overall, lately my experience has been bad. if they don't improve their manner and services. I can surely say that there business will be going down hill from here. Considering all the negative comments on here, I suggest that they should STOP NOT CARING and start considering these constructive criticisms and make it better.
The food here was great, I've been their about 20 Times in the past month this is defiantly a restaurant i will go to again. If you're going their and dont know what to get i suggest if you like sushi get the salmon sushi, also another thing to get would be the Squid Tempura it is Amazing.
I will be the first to admit that I'm a bit fussy, but, fish wasn't fresh, tempura was very greasy, and service was horrific. The north American fare was no better, poor quality and greasy. Its a no for me.
Some of the dishes were very good, some were passable. Fish was very fresh tasting so I suppose in a sushi restaurant that is imperative! But the service..egads....the girl who served our table never spoke, just threw things down on our table and then stomped off. Perhaps there was a language barrier, but i think smiles cut across all languages and cultures so there was no reason for the miserable, frown-faced treatment. So if you go, just enjoy some of the tasty food and hope you aren't bothering your server too much for being there.
