At BCTI Brar Career Training Institute Inc in Surrey, we are a private educational institute registered and approved to provide mandatory security patrol training by the province of the BC Security Programs Division.

Surrey's BCTI Brar Career Training Institute Inc trains in health care, private security services, building service and maintenance, and the food entertainment industry. We promote and enhance the quality of education in employable members of our community including those with English as a second language. We facilitate customized programs and assisting ESL clients to access full spectrum of alternatives. We provide a Private Security Guard course (mandatory requirement) to become a Private Security Guard in BC. The course is offered in conjunction with the Justice Institute of BC’s Private Securities Programs. We also offer the Building Service Workers course (to become a certified janitor in residential, commercial educational or health care facilities. For the food and entertainment industry, we conduct Food Safe basic level 1 and Food Safe level 2. The Ministry of Health & Food Protection Program recognizes these two courses.
