Dr Jas is fantastic. After going to different vets we found a caring doctor who takes time to explain the all options and really care about your pet.Front desk girl is very compassionate and polite. She seems to love and care about patients.I highly recommend them.

    We had to put our...

We had to put our dog down and the service we received during this most difficult time was horrible. Dr Sidhu does not treat his staff with respect and clearly lacks experience as a vet. I will never go back there and I DONT recommend this vet!

Dr Sidhu is not working any more. We respect all our staff members. Easy accessibility and customer centered approach is our motto. Euthanasia ( put to sleep) is the most emotionally disturbing situation for clients and Vets,Dr Jas Ranote and all staff at Westgate Animal Hospital have full empathy with our clients at this difficult time and always try to block time for this difficult and hard time.

    Good experience, caring staff

We have taken our dog in both for grooming and for the services of the vet. We couldn't be more satisfied. The front desk staff have changed within the past year, and they go out of their way to make sure you have all the information you need. In addition, it is obvious that both the grooming and vet staff love animals! We on several occasions have observed them talking to the dogs and cats, and making them as comfortable as possible. Rates are very competitive as well.

    Big Heart

Awesome staff and groomer here. I'm always greeted with a smile and more importantly, so is my kitty! Dr. Sidhu has never pushed anything on me, simply advised me what is best for my pet. This can be misunderstood as being pushy I am sure. The groomer and her adorable doggy are usually there when I come too and you can see how much she cares. Last time I came in, she was taking her dogs, waiting to be picked up, out for a walk and had put little christmas accessories on them for the owner. Dr. Sidhu never overcharges me and has shown me his drawer full of people he's allowed to make payment plans who wouldn't have had anywhere to go otherwise, with a sick animal and no money. I couldn't be happier with my vet.

    Bad Groomer/Vet Assistant

Sorry guys, but I didn't find the Vet awful, it was the groomer and vet assistant. Our little pup went in for a groom (1st time with this groomer) and came out with a cut in her lower lid and a corneal ulcer (cut/poke in her eyeball). Groomer blamed it on our pup for being squirmy said she had to put on a muzzel (NEVER, in the 5 years we've had her has one groomer had to do this in fact, we've had more compliments on how good and easy she is). My husband goes to pick her up and comes out with a steriod eye drop and this explanation as to what happend. I called her and asked how SHE knew it was just a scratch, she said the Vet assistant said so. I ask her..The Vet is right there, why didn't you have him see her...who the heck is the assistant to analyze?? Long story short, took her to my own Vet, he says the vet SHOULD have looked at her as steriods are the worst thing you can put in an eye with a corneal ulcer, it impedes the healing process. Also, this steriod she GAVE to the groomer is not to be given out without a Vet seeing the animal first AND an RX!!! My Vet emails this Vet to tell him what's happened. Turns out, the Vet was there the WHOLE time and COULD have seen my dog. PLEASE PEOPLE, take caution!!!!
