We did read a lot of reviews about the David Duncan House and were a bit skeptical about dining here last week, We had some friends in from out of town and decided to come here for dinner,We did however drop by one afternoon and looked around and picked up a menu, We had a reservation for 6.30 pm, got seated in the lower level,nice round table in the corner, The servers were yes a bit old school but very kind and did answer all our questions.Ordered some cocktails and got some galic bread,pickles and cottage cheese, We started of with a caeser for 4 that was prepared table side, All I can say is that is was to die for,Crispy romaine rich thick salad dressing made from the scratch. Main dishes were Rack of lamb,Filet mignon,Dover sole,and Prime Rib,We also had a bottle of red shiraz that the server recommended for 39.95 that was a great complimant to our meals,I myself had the Dover sole and my wife the filet, All of our meals were very good, The vegetables were ok a bit bland,the baked and mashed potatos were good, The servers were around when needed and did look after us through our evening, We did not have any dessert just some coffee and tea, Our friends have beev raving about this place to all there friends and made it a point to tell us when ever they visit us we will be going to the David Duncan House , In my opinion the reataurant was great, Not over priced a good meal and experienced servers, It is a dining room from the past era that has been around for a long time so I guess they are donig something right, My wife and I will be visiting again soon as we enjoyed our eveing with our friends,

Hey, so its your standard greasy spoon. Quick service with a open kitchen so you can see whats going on. I work about two blocks away so I eat there probably 2 times weekly on average. I have never been let down. 5.95 for a lunch special that is more than I can eat, although Im sure that some ppl would have little problem ingesting the mountain of food. Reasonable price, good food nice selection.

There are lineups at dinner time with hungry duos and foursomes forming a line that snakes all the way to the cases of steaming ducks, chickens and succulent pigs where you can get fantastic BBQ takeout. I once took a couple of pounds of BBQ pork to a small birthday party, and it was all gone by the time my spouse parked the car. This restaurant provides excellent food at reasonable prices if you order the dinner for 4, or 6, or however many there are in your party. The menu is fixed, but flexible in the choice of appetizers. The meal begins with broth, and appetizers but ends up with so many different dishes that the table groans. The food is fresh and dellcious homestyle Cantonese cooking. The waiters are generally efficient and capable of handling the crowds on weekends. Lots of free parking.

After hearing it about from a coworker I decided to visit the Sizzler myself since I work on Woodbine. Although I passed the place a couple of times because I thought'd it be more "eye catching", it looked like any typical family/homey environment in a way. I ended up ordering breakfast to go.
The service itself was great because the people there were very friendly and polite. My kind of style! =]. And when I tasted the food, it was awesome! The food itself was very good. They gave great portions and it wasn't greasy at all which made it so great! Normally I dislike eating breakfast outside because of the amount of oil they used but this place served it really good. I'm happy. Oh, and the price was awesome for breakfast!

I've only been here for the lunch buffet and I recommend it. The wait staff are helpful and the ambiance is first class. The buffet is a great way to experience Afghan food. They usually have spinach, chick peas, lentils, eggplant, potatoes, etc. in addition to the kabobs. When I've been there, they usually offer a couple types of chicken kabobs and two types of meat kabobs. There are usually over ten different choices, so you get a wide assortment of well-prepared and healthful dishes. Of all the vegetables, the eggplant is my favorite. I've taken a few people here and everybody has enjoyed the experience. One guy even said it was his best dining experience ever.

Service was pretty good considering we were eating in an asian establishment. Tea was topped up, food was replenished quickly, and the side dishes kept coming.
I didn't use their washroom but the location is accessible by TTC or Car. Nice spacious dining area and it was clean. I liked how food was coming non-stop. We had so much food that night - great bang for our buck. Although the taste of the food was a little bland (compared to other Korean BBQ places), the side dishes made up for it. I think we took their stock of kimchi and spicy bean sprouts =)

I have been a customer of King Henry's for the last 6 years and I have loved every visit. The food is amazing and they have found gems to work in their kitchen. Everything from the featured appetizers to the homemade desserts have been a treat to look forward to. My favourite thing to order are the curry fries and the Prime rib dinner on Friday and Saturday night is amazing, but get there early because they can sell out. The prices of the food and drinks are low compared to their high quality. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and treat their regulars like part of the family. Overall definitely worth the visit you will quickly become addicted!!! ENJOY :)
