We are visitors to the area and at 5 pm the only in town place open was the cookhouse. I don't know Keerney that well but after driving around town look for dinner we found this place. There is another place I heard was good but they were not open, I think they were called Iron something?
Anyway the Cookhouse was great. The lady was very nice and we had many choices to pick from. We found the food to be great. The other review does not do it justice, they are nothing like what is written,
Please go there and make your own choice as to the quality of their food, make up your own mind. Don't listen to this review or any other review just try it for yourself.

I stopped in expecting a little diner where I could get a spaghetti and meat balls. I was surprised to find that Danny's is a lot more than that, a fine dining experience right alongside the highway. Service was prompt and pleasant, the linguini was superb, and the surroundings were very nice. Worth every penny!

On April 30th, I met with a business associate for a working lunch. The menu was creative , original and every dish was as mouth watering as the next one. It makes for a tough decision however, we both chose a lunch platter with a variety of specialties included.
Even though we had a few minor 'snags' , the server was attentive and the management friendly & responsive.
We both left with a smile on our face and look forward to bringing friends and family to this new treasure in downtown Huntsville.

but the disappointment of all is the dirty Womens washrooms.
they are on going filthy..have addressed this to workers a few times.
plus all summer,probably longer,there is no lock on one of inside bathroom stalls.
