We weren't sure where to have dinner and decided to try this place. It was definitely worth it! When we walked in, we were greeted right away, in Italian and English, which I thought was a nice touch. There was a piano player in the foyer playing nice tunes, I liked that. The server came over right away, very courteous and kind. We were given bread with oil and vinegar to dip, it tasted delicious! Definitely authentically Italian! We then ordered fried calamari to start, definitely a good choice! Nice and crispy! Our pasta came soon after. It was cooked to perfection! The sauce was superb and the pasta's flavours all blended together nicely. I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant and would definitely visit again. The only thing that wasn't too nice was the price, over $80 for two people, but it was well-worth it. Read more

my wife and I were there for a celebration, and it was a great choice to try this restaurant. treated great from the moment we walked in. Service was very good throughout. Chef Corrie came out to say hello, brought us after dinner drink and comlimentary dessert. Our dinner, soft shell crab was a good choice. My wife had the special (full sea bass) amazing. I just want to take this opportunity to thank you and the staff at Mastro Roberto for a SPECTAULAR celebration lunch my twins Confirmation yesterday. The food was DELISH, especially the pizza, pasta and seafood - you and the servers were very accommodating. Our party of 20 was looked after even though the restaurant was very busy with Mothers Day patrons. We thank you for that.
