This little hideaway chinese restaurant is on the edge of St. Marys and has been owned and operated by the same family for years. Not very busy, but has the most loyal customers in St. Marys. I don't deviate much from my standard lemongrass chicken + pork dish since I love it so much, even if it is pretty straight forward. I could live off the crispy wontons ommm nom. Lots of Chinese clientele dining here which is a good sign. Owner seems genuinely nice and offered pleasant conversation. They're a dim sum icon in London having been here 32 years. We have eaten at Green Tea twice and really enjoyed the food. The first time we ordered the 2 course pecking duck which was delicious and the second time we ordered the lobster for two which was excellent. The decor is very nice and the service is good BUT they are too quick with the food. The main entrees were brought to our table as we were still eating our appetizer. This is a huge pet peeve of mine. I like to enjoy the meal and take my time and felt rushed.

Hubby and I always look forward to a trip to London so that we travel back to Woodstock thru Thamesford. We always enjoy lunch at Tokyo Joes. Just there today, had two specials, my husband the burger and fries, myself, a Caesar Chicken wrap and fries. The fries were fresh & hot, the burger was homemade and the Caesar wrap was one of the best I have ever had, complete with fresh cooked bacon. Kismet is my go-to place for Indian/Bangladeshi food in Waterloo. I usually get take out because the space is pretty small, and I've never had a problem with the people at the cash. My partner is not a fan of cilantro and they've never given as a problem when we ask for items without.
Their naan is the best I've had in Waterloo (Grain of Salt in Cambridge is the only place I've tried with better naan). Much better than the sort of pancakey stuff I've seen at other places *cough*Curry in a Hurry.
I really like their aloo gobi, which is potato and caulifower with curry spices. Their chicken korma is also delicious.
