Green Thumb Garden Centre is a locally owned and operated retail garden centre located in the Nepean area of Ottawa. We were incorporated in 1989, and our focus has always been on you and your garden. We are proud of what we carry. We only sell plants that are hardy to the Ottawa area—and before they go to your home, we will do our best to help you be sure the plants and accessories are suitable for you and your garden. Whether at your home or at our garden centre, we will help you envision your gardening dream.

Our vision is to grow with you. Gardening is an ongoing education, and we want you to feel at home with our community-oriented atmosphere as you learn from Green Thumb Garden Centre. To keep to that atmosphere, we have stayed in the ‘old’ Nepean area of Ottawa—17 Tristan Court, southeast of Merivale and Hunt Club—since 2005. Although we are still small in stature, we can prepare BIG plans with you for your garden.
