These tests allow us to better detect and treat conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Insurance Patients 19 years and under are covered by OHIP, this includes an annual comprehensive eye examination and any needed follow-up visits Most adults aged 20 to 64 are not covered under OHIP.
