Hi my name is Sue, I am originally from England and have been making flags and custom banners for more than 10 years. I started off in a small factory working with a few women in the North of England and was taught how to make the flags piece by piece.Then I moved over to Canada with my husband and son in 2001.There I had the idea of having my own business making flags, and thats how it all started. I use 200 denier solarmax nylon which is rot resistant and water repellent. Woven poly cotton is also available. I can also use antifray, this is an opional feature, which is sewn onto the fly end of the flag. The way it works is easy, when the wind blows the antifray expands and the air blows through the little holes in the antifray and stops it from affecting the flag itself.
