The Dashwood Volunteer Fire Department was formed in 1984 by a dedicated group of community members who felt a strong passion to have a safer community. Today that passion is still alive and the tradition of keep our community safe is forefront with all our members. Today the Dashwood Volunteer Fire Department has 40 dedicated volunteers operating out of two stratigicly placed fire stations, and is under the direction of a Career Fire Chief Nick Acciavatti and Deputy Fire Chief Dan Francouer.
