Gizmo's Computers

I seriously regret trusting them. If you want to give your old PC to them for re-use or recycling, be sure to discuss the payment with them before you give them your PC, because otherwise they would probably just take it without giving you anything, like they did to me. They took my perfectly functional old PC with a GTX 1050 and an Intel i5 without paying me anything back, and was aggressive when I asked them about it. That PC was basically 300$ they got from me for free. Unbelievable.

I phoned in a bit of a panic - audio on computer really scratchy - I thought Id need new one. They were very kind and helpful on the phone, took my computer in with intention to get new one and have all data transferred. Jeff first tried blowing air in speakers, then Chris pulled up Neil Diamond audio for us to assess - it was great. No need for new one - so thankful, especially during this very odd time. Fabulous service.

My adherence to Gizmos Computers in Victoria is not by chance. I have been given consistently good to excellent service in the last 18 years while I had variable experience with other service providers when I was unable to get to them. Last week there was a failed SSD drive problem that was causing us havoc until the instant help from Gizmos which was not only fast and definitive but courteous and absolutely no smoke and mirrors involved. A superb professional knowledge is manifested every time.

Over the last 5+ years I have brought various computer problems in to the good folks at Gizmo's- desktop, laptop, tablets and smart phones-- Invariably they have been honest, knowledgeable, effective, and reasonably priced. They have patiently explained my options without laughing at my ignorance of technological basics. Great folks to deal with--AND-- they also sell farm fresh eggs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a computer ...

I had a computer issue on my laptop and while waiting, Jeff fixed the problem. I chuckled as there were other ladies waiting (at opening) and one mentioned that she brings him treats as she is a regular customer. Next visit, I'll do the same. Great service and friendly very knowledgeable staff.
