“I used to live just on 4th and when I used to jog through the neighbourhood with my dog it would be alive with animals—people walking their dogs, cats crossing our path—so I knew the area was full of animals,” Mark explains. “When I had to buy my dog high quality food, I’d have to drive somewhere to get it and a lot of people in this neighbourhood don’t drive. So I thought, where are they getting their food?”
Mark expanded his own knowledge through talking to small pet shop owners and opened up to provide that one-on-one experience and help educate people about their pets.
