    Good Service!

    I bought my apartment and just had the conveyance part done with their office. The service was good and the fees are reasonable. It is a good choice if you have limited budget for the costs.

    Horrible service, make sure you prepare tons of cash before you meet them otherwise they will make you won't have time to prepare a bank draft for them. Told by her staff that the meet was at 5pm on that day and the amount wasn't disclose until 4pm that day, she gives you almost no time to prepare the money/bankdraft. On a side note, it feels like they have a call centre there and no one will be dedicated to your case at all. You get fast food services at Pauline Fong-Leung. Avoid.

    Hi Aaron, We are sorry to hear about your recent experience with our office. However please note that we have designated conveyance for every file/ every client, and all conveyancers will be reporting the progress of their files to the Notary. We have this system set up for the last 21 years. As long as client clearly indicates the nature of their file, or property address or their LEGAL names, we will be able to locate the assigned conveyancer within seconds. We always have receptionist answering phone calls unless if all our office lines are busy or it is after office hours. Please also note that there are many depending factors eg Bank approval instructions, info. from property management co.,before we can advise the final correct figures to clients for purchasing files. And anyhow, it is the client's own choice to bring the final payment amount at the appointment time. We can always try our best to make alternative arrangements and work out best solution with clients.

    Never use this no...

    Never use this notary.so irresponsible. Took me forever to get my move in deposit back. They never do anything if u don't keep calling them .

    I am sorry to hear that you had a disappointing experience. With respect to a "Move In" damage deposit holdback, or any other Strata related holdback, the initiative is commenced by the Strata management. The Strata is able to dictate terms for allowing the transfer of the property to ensure it is free and clear of debt, therefore if they ask us to hold funds back from the Buyer or Seller of a property, we have no choice but to do so until advised otherwise by the Strata management. If the strata is slow in sending us an "all clear" to release the hold back, then that is the time that we have to operate under. Normally when a Strata requires a holdback, the timeline is roughly 1 to 2 months before they clear the release of the funds, and our office will have scheduled followups within that timeline. If you find yourself in a similar situation again you may be better served by directing any further calls to the Strata management, as they are the deciding factor as to when your holdback will be released.
