In 1994 Dr. Mike Charach became the first Board Certified Animal Dermatologist in Western Canada and thus becoming third Canadian Board Certified. Currently there are approximately 200 actively practicing Veterinary Dermatologists in North America. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology (Honours) at the University of Manitoba. I would be very wary of the decisions this doctor makes for your pet. While some of what they can do will help, they give mixed opinions and do not keep consistent records of your visits. They will continually ask about doing new tests that they have done previously. Some tests you do need to repeat, while others like blood tests to see what your pet is allergic to, do not need to be repeated.
