Typical insurance company, deny any and all claims until you threaten legal action then they accept. The claims rep was good to deal with but the subrogation claim rep was completely incompetent. Her boss was no better, refused to return phone calls. In the end the subrogation claims rep cost me thousands of dollars wasting my lawyers time and mine. Even my lawyer was making comments about how incompetent TD was.
