i have been going to aris since 1974 and i still go there.the food is great!!...the prices are more then fair for what you order.the owner's are very freindly,and the waitress's are fast and freindly.the atomosphere is very warm,and you feel more then at home there.i stop in for a great cup of coffee everyday,and a great meal and a cold one at least twice or more per week...i look forward to going there when i can...superb food!!!!super owner's!!!!!super staff!!!

when we first got to the restaurant we were seated the waitress was friendly, and quick to get whatever we asked for. Once the food had arrived the eggs and omelette were perfect the bacon wasnt too cooked or under cooked. Everything was made just perfect. The food was magnificent, that's the only reason we will be coming back again for sure. The atmosphere is bad: it's very dark, loud and very, very, very tight. The service isn't the greatest either. Although the waitresses are very nice, but they're in their own world sometimes walking around dreaming or changing music when customers are waiting. We've waited just for our check for about 30 minutes. I don't understand why they don't allow carry-out - they would be making tons of cash with their diamond in the kitchen. Still, with all those negative things, we will be coming back for the food.

Definitely the best bar / restaurant in the area. Great Patio in the back and very cozy atmosphere inside. This is a designated heritage building and there are old pictures of the area on the walls which is a nice touch.
The food is great and it's a mix of Italian, Mexican, American. What I like most is the open kitchen. The food is prepped in the open! It's a refreshing change from almost all other restaurants that prep food behind closed doors (makes you wonder what's really crawling in the kitchen).
The Bar has good selection on tap and there is a comfortable lounging area in the back by the fireplace as well.
If you are looking for something in this area, I would definitely recommend going here.
