A favourite restaurant. Friendly, comfortable environment with very good service. We recently enjoyed Tempura as a starter followed by the CHEO Charity Dinner Menu 4 Course Meal. The atmosphere is relaxed with just the right time between serving items that arrive fresh, hot and tasty. The lunch All You Can Eat menu is a particular favourite for those who enjoy a slower meal with small portions of individual items from the menu. We have been many times and will return many times.

My husband and I have been a customer at the Oak on March Road since the first day they opened their doors. We have been patrons ever since, loved the staff for their friendly attitude, and the way they have cared over the years for their clients. Today this atmosphere has not changed and the staff, although younger are ever so caring and warm towards their customers. As a vegetarian, I am picky about my tofu. I've had tofu too mushy, tofu too firm, uncooked, overcooked, under-seasoned, over-seasoned, etc, etc. This is so NOT the case at the Lucky 7! They fry up a mean tofu and veggies and the consistency of the tofu in the tofu soup is soft without being mushy. The flavours of these two dishes have become a comfort food to me. The people who work there are also some of the kindest people I've ever had the pleasure of ordering from. The entire experience is exactly what you need after a difficult day.

I come here once in a while with my family and we are never disappointed. The food is very good - always hot and fresh. I may be bold and say that it is the best in Rockland and if not, one of the best in Ottawa. The owners are very friendly and attentive. They recently renovated their interior not too long ago and we're loving the new modern look! A big upgrade from their old outdated appearance. Definitely worth checking out.
