Cordonnerie Westmount has been repairing and dying leather with care and dedication since the early 1990s – and has won the esteem if its clientele through exemplary work. “My customers know my work is of the utmost quality and appreciate my work ethic,” says owner George Tankejian. “We have a lot of regular customers and others who find us through word of mouth. And we pride ourselves on taking on work that other repair shops will not – or cannot – attempt.”
Besides footwear, the neighbourhood business also repairs other leather accessories such as purses and briefcases. They also offer a boot cleaning service to get out those tenacious salt stains.
