Awful. Charged 2400$ for a day's work, didn't fix the problem, have not answered emails or returned calls. Incompetent and unprofessional.

sur une maison à vendre, un acheteur a demandé leur service d'une inspection sur la fournaise de gaz (chauffage à l'eau) et le coût de leur évaluation était de 35 000$ à 40 000$, suite à cela une autre expertise avec autre plombier a été évalué et le coût était de 15 280$ + taxes, et ce pour les mêmes travaux... certain que Pl.Westmount est non recommandé.

Awful!!! $163 for the plumber to come and he put on my bathtub faucet and the shower head arm. I wanted him to fix the leak under the sink, tighten the wingnuts for the faucet so the faucet was not loose and also to install stoppers so water could be turned off just at my sink. He did NONE of that. He sat there and said we replace things, we do not fix things. Maybe I should have declined to pay. A letter with my cheque complaining simply had them cash my cheque and do nothing. AVOID!!!!!

We've been using Westmount Plumbing for about 10 years. They provide good communication in French and English. Their work is always very good, things left clean, and I have never had to fix anything they have done. Their bills have never contained any surprises. We plan to continue using Westmount Plumbing, and recommend them without reservation.

poor workmanship and customer service

Their installer Luc installed my kitchen sink and rebuilt the under-sink drain system at a cost of $557.14. One day later the drain pipe leaks. They came back claiming this just had to be tightened. Months later I smell mold and see water dripping in the under sink cabinet. Had another plumber James Griffin investigate who found that Westmount's employee never sealed the pipe connections, forgot to put the adhesive. Now I'm out $129 for the fix and they don't react to my requests for reimburse,

Professional and did good work

We live in the bottom unit of a 100-year old triplex in Westmount. Needless to say, things can go wrong in such an old building. :P We were new to the area and did not know of any plumbers so found Westmount Plumbing and Heating in the yellowpages. So far we have used them twice: 1. Winter 2009 - Claude came by to get some of our hot-water radiators working, and fix a leaky one. He seemed experienced and well-informed. Prompt and professional. 2. Fall 2010 - Alain and his son Benoit came by to fix some large common drainpipes that were discovered to be eroded and cracked, which had caused leaking in our boiler closet and in the shallow crawl space / basement. They cut out the damaged portions, and replaced them with new piping. They too acted in a timely and professional manner. So far, all repairs seem to be holding up well. I would recommend this company and will use them again if needed.
