She even stopped the desk assistant from berating me at one point to say – “hey – it’s clear we’re in the wrong here” – but to be honest, the whole situation turned me off so much, I just wasn’t interested. I even thought, hey – if I get a nice little note this evening, maybe I’ll give them another shot – and I’ve received nothing. Radio silence. A++++ service. If they’re not interested in the $97 plus tax and tip they could have received from me on a very frequent basis then fine.

Wonderful staff and service... although they did not have room for us at the exact time we asked for they were able to accommodate us without a pre-booked appointment on the same day.
I went to Rouge nail bar on Cresent street for a mani/pedi yesterday. It was my first time and will be my last time. I like that the salon is clean (tools) and zen compared to some Asian owned nail salons. However, I had a very bad service. I was late 15 mins due to finding a parking. The technician kept reminding me that I was late and that she did not have time to do my pink-french-mani. I was sorry and agree to do the clear-french mani, since according to her, takes less time. The rest of my
Like the first review says, the concept is nice, it is very clean and all but, and there is a big BUT, the job is not done well. I came back home, 2 1/2 hours after only to have to redo the pedicure. So if you think that the hard skin under your feet accumulated over the winter will be gone when you get home, think again, it will be when you redo your feet not from the service you paid for. But the good news is, if your feet doesn't feel lighter you will however be lighter of 60$ in your bank account. On top of it, the nail polish on my toes seems like it's been there for 2 weeks already. Guess she was scared of going near the cuticle so that it last longer. Manicure was fine though, not a fan of the color but not her fault, I did choose that color. In other words, don't waste your money. It's not worth all the hype they tried to create.
I am so glad Rouge finally opened a location downtown. I have been a regular at their St Laurent location for the past year, but I work downtown and it was not convenient for me to get there all the time. It is very CLEAN, has a great selection of OPI colours and very affordable (like $45 for mani & pedi!). It is a very cool concept with leather couches and they play S*x and the City on the flat screens. The only other options are LV on Drummond (not clean and horrible chemical atmosphere) or one of the spas downtown (expensive and boring). They are also open till 10pm - which is unheard of in Montreal. The Crescent location is across from Nespresso ( and very near Holt Renfrew)
