There aren’t many businesses where an owner can boast about being the creator and sole proprietor of everything on display. However, MALTESTE Gallery is one such place.

MALTESTE opened his gallery in June 2012 and it features his amazing fine art photography made up of gorgeous landscapes and wildlife shots.

“It’s a nature art gallery dedicated exclusively to ultra high-end photography,” says MALTESTE. “Everything you see in the gallery is printed on genuine silver halide photo paper and is available in limited edition only.”

Inspirations from 17th to 19th century painters like Vermeer, Van Gogh and Albert Bierstadt can be seen in MALTESTE’s infatuation with nature and searching for moments of beauty within it. The swings in emotion that come from MALTESTE’s pieces range from the whimsical to the serene. His work evokes these different feelings and emotions through images of things like a stoic lion or the calm surface of a frozen lake. When you're looking at his work, it's clear that MALTESTE lives rooted in the present moment with light, color, composition and emotions.

MALTESTE Gallery is completely different from any gallery that you will see in Canada, as the man himself points out: “I am the artist and I represent my limited edition work exclusively. Every artwork is available in four standard sizes but if a customer wants a certain custom sizing, we will do it; my work is completely customizable to fit the clients' needs.”
