My wife and I found a Brubacher Water Buffalo summer sausage in a shop in Stratford during our after dinner walk. Let me tell you, my family moved from Windsor to the Waterloo Region when I was a kid. That was before summer sausage had become mass produced. Tasting Woolwich Township summer sausage was magic. This summer sausage had the look, the taste, and the smell of the traditional sausages that could be bought from farms around Hawkesville, St. Jacobs, and Elmira. Thanks for the memories.
