“Robert sits on international spirit and wine tasting panels. He’s known for his palette,” says Lisa Simpson, director of operations and co-founder of The Liberty Distillery with her husband Robert. “He guides the direction and vision of the actual profile of our spirit products.” Robert’s highly refined tastes and understanding of complex flavour interactions give The Liberty Distillery’s spirits bold, unique flavours and clean, smooth finishes that capture the attention and imagination of true connoisseurs and casual tasters alike.

“What really segregates and defines our spirits is that in striving for a clean pure spirit, we’re very, very defined on what we’re gathering during our distillation. Our margins are very narrow,” Lisa explains. Refusing to compromise taste for a more cost-effective product, The Liberty Distillery selects only the purest portions of its spirits for further distillation, resulting in smooth, full-bodied flavours and unmistakable quality.
