Terrible after purchase customer service experience at The Brick's 1920 99St.NW South Common location when it came to the extended warranty. "Our commitment is to you ...our customer" is written on the sales invoice. This declaration is not worth the paper it is written on. Contacted Head office twice to discuss our concerns. They did not have the courtesy to return either of our calls. We will be letting our friends know of our experience.
After purchasing a very expensive bed from this store, I had a problem firstly, with the salesperson charging my credit card twice (which was corrected) and secondly, promising delivery on a particular date - that never happened. I wasted an entire day waiting and now have to wait another week. The salesperson said to me on message that - `its not in my hands`. Nice -right? Pass the buck. I will not deal with the Brick again. I do not like being given the run around.
Highly NOT recommended to shop here, hopefully what we went through was just this particular location and not a company wide problem… we have no issues with delivery dates changing in this pandemic but it becomes unacceptable when you are not informing your paying customers of these changes. We purchased a couch and ottoman from south common brick. I had to call EVERY single time my 3 hour slot call wasnt received. Between my 2 deliveries the date changed 4 times and Im still waiting on one ?!
Rhea went above and beyond to find a fit for our needs. She was very helpful throughout our experience with the Brick. It was a pleasure to deal with Rhea and we are very grateful for her assistance.
I was at South common Brick store last Saturday. Sales person Jean D introduced himself in a professional manner and offered me to help. I was looking for a crib and dresser. Jean gave me some time to browse the products and then guided me to find the right product within my budget. I got a very good deal and Jean went above and beyond with his sales skills. I am very much impressed with Jeans excellent customer service and professionalism. I will definitely give a 5 star rating to Jean.
Rhea and Rupinder were very helpful to me and my wife. They explain to us about queensize bed and frames. Instead of buying one we bought two beds and service was very fast. Thank you ladies
Ihave never ordered anything and it take this long with this bad of service. Ordered a bunk bed 5 weeks ago, they said the following week it would be in so we waited. Then we called they said next week so we waited. Then we called the lady straight up told us sir we have no idea when the bed will be in we dont know where it is we will have to call you when it gets here. How in the heck do you not where your products are?, never will I use the brick again and I have my house full of brick purchas
We purchased a kitchen set at The Brick in Edmonton, a buffet/counter table and some corresponding coffee tables we thought looked nice and appeared to be of good quality. We also were strongly encouraged to purchase the "5 Year Blanket Coverage" warranty and the "Master Surface Coverage" plan. Within the warranty period, all the "leather" (fake leather) came apart, split and cracked. The Brick considers this "normal wear and tear" -so clearly both their furniture AND warranty is GARBAGE
No respect, no system, very disappointed. We need a range, the salesman also introduce us a fridge. We bought a range and a fridge, FULLY PAID and schedule the delivery. They do not know they are out of stock until the day before delivery. They reschedule the delivery date, inform us after and never ask are we available or not. We wait it on the rescheduled delivery day, but ends up no show, no call. We call them, they said there is no delivery for us, as they did not order the item becau
My wife and I purchased a custom made couch and chez here on a payment plan. On the original date that we were supposed to receive them, there was no delivery or word about delivery from the brick. We called them, they said that our couches were back ordered and that it would be another three weeks until they were delivered. We waited the three weeks, called before they delivery date and they confirmed the date of delivery at November 2nd, 2014.
Our family purchased a dishwasher here (on a Sunday), and had paid for delivery, instalment, and the removal of the old dishwasher. We were delighted when the store said that they would have the dishwasher to us by Wednesday, and the latest by Friday. On Friday, we received a phone call, and it was the salesperson questioning why we hadn't called them to confirm delivery? We were so confused as we thought that our payment for the delivery and instalment was our confirmation, and we also weren't told to call to confirm when we were at the store. We just thought that this was a misunderstanding, so we verbally confirmed the delivery and instalment for Monday. On Monday afternoon, we hadn't heard anything from the Brick, so we called, and they said that they weren't scheduled to come. Obviously frustrated, we asked them what the problem was, and they said that someone had accidentally changed the order from a delivery to a pick-up. We were so frustrated that we went back to the store to the return the dishwasher and shop somewhere else. The store didn't want to lose our business so they said that they would refund the cost of delivery and instalment, and would make sure that the dishwasher was delivered by Thursday (this was now almost 2 weeks after first purchasing it). We wanted to give them one last chance, so we reluctantly agreed. On Thursday, there was no sign of the Brick delivery truck, and no phone call from them. We called them and there was another mix-up. They said that there was miscommunication between the store and the people installing the dishwasher. They said that it was a computer error. By this point we had had enough. We returned the dishwasher and went somewhere else. Our experience here has been nothing but frustrating and negative, and we just want to spread the word to avoid other negative experiences like ours happening to someone else. Do not shop here!
