Located inside West Edmonton Mall, this cozy sushi bar is one of my favourite spots to grab some salmon sashimi and an avocado roll. But, I tend to only eat there when I’m already at the mall shopping. Thankfully, customers are no longer limited by location – Oranj now offers delivery. The sashimi is very high quality, and the rolls are massive – the Philadelphia roll (cream cheese, smoked salmon, avocado and cucumber) is always a solid bet.
This tiny space on Bourbon Street in West Edmonton Mall is a popular spot to stop in for sushi during a shopping spree. But, in addition to quick sashimi and rolls, Oranj offers top-notch Japanese food. While the setting lacks formality, the quality of the food never wavers.
Located on Bourbon Street within West Edmonton Mall, this sushi bar alone is worth the drive to the mall, even if you aren’t shopping. The avocado roll is
massive, with creamy slices of the green fruit both secured on the outside and sheltered within the rice. This is definitely not food court sushi – but is almost as fast. The salmon sashimi is a popular choice, and maki can be done with brown rice on request.
